Description

BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide based on a partial sequence of a protective protein found in human gastric juice. In laboratory and animal research it has been investigated for its effects on the healing of muscle, tendon, ligament, bone and gastrointestinal tissue, alongside angiogenesis (new blood-vessel formation) and modulation of inflammatory signaling. Most published evidence to date is preclinical, with human research limited to small pilot studies.
